The cast and crew of Music & Murder began production on episode 3 this past Saturday on December 17th, 2016. Episode 3 features Hip-Hop legend and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee "Rahiem" of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5. In addition to Rahiem, Platinum producer, Stephen "Stix" Josey joins the cast. The two play life long friends in the series and reoccur during flashbacks of Chastity's and Sylas' past.
Also joining the cast is Natasha Khan Mayet, playing Helena Michaels, Alexandra Velez, playing the younger version of Chastity, Devaunte Smith-Dempsey, playing the younger version of Sylas, Sam Evans playing the childhood friend of Sylas, and Jasmine Wilson playing a younger version of Chastity's childhood friend Lace. Musical artist featured in this episode is GA's own Supa Peach, whom you will remember from the 1st season of the Lifetime series, "The Rap Game" hosted by Jermaine Dupri. In this episode Supa Peach gets to show off her acting chops along side her manager Rodney Hardimon. Fans of the talented artist and intenet sensation will get a treat as she delivers a very believable performance in her scenes and a Music & Murder version of the video for her hit song "Numero Uno" The video will appear at the end of the episode as customary with the show.
In episode 3 the story of Chastity Michaels goes back to the origins of the duality of Chastity's personality. In this episode we see Chastity learning about her inner strength as well as lay the ground work for what makes Sylas "tic".
